Establishing a Scholarship

Annually-Funded Named Scholarships
Annually-funded scholarships are funded on an annual basis.  The Foundation is happy to invoice donors for these awards.  Scholarships are not awarded until funds are received.  The CSU-Pueblo Foundation recommends a minimum annual scholarship amount of $1,200.

Named Scholarships
Expendable Scholarships are funded with an initial gift of at least $5,000 and awarded until the account is depleted.

Endowed Named Scholarships
The minimum amount to endow a scholarship at CSU-Pueblo is $25,000.  An endowed scholarship is meant to last in perpetuity, with a portion of the annual income from the endowment to be used for the scholarship’s monetary awards.  Endowed scholarships may be funded over a five-year period.
